It's been several hours and the group finds themselves in the Lounge sharing drinks and stories. Noticibly missing are Araavos, Nazmir, and Rilith

Meanwhile in the Astral Plane

As you arrive at the door to your parent's house. Araavos kisses your mother's hand and thanks them for having them as you all head inside.

I thought a nice family dinner would be a change of pace for tonight. So I asked your parents if it would be alright to come by.

"Yes, we're a little suprised to be honest. It's rather odd for someone else to ask. But regardless I'm glad to see my girls." Your mother says warmly with a smile. "Yes, it's been a while since I've seen my daughters. What have you been up to?" Your father says as he sets the table.

Not much. It's good to see you two again. (smiles)

Mom, Dad, how are you?

"We're doing well Nazmir, thank you." your mother replies. "You've been keeping Rilith here out of trouble, right?" your father inquires.

I try, but she's always been the rebel.

Okay, I get drunk and loose my shit a couple times and suddenly I'm a troublemaker.

Girl, you kept sneaking out to cause mayhem in the town when we were kids.

"If I recall, you joined her a few times, got caught yourself there Nazmir.." Your father reminds you. "Yes, but they managed to figure it out. Nothing too serious" your mother comments. "So, who's the friend of yours. He's rather charming." your mother asks. "Yes, very respectful. But I find myself curious as well." Your father remarks.

My name is Araavos. And again, it's a pleasure to meet the parent's of these two. They've said so much about you, I just simply had to meet you.

Well yeah. My dad's an awesome wizard. Who am I to not talk about him?

"Singing my praises again? " your father smirks. "Don't infalte his ego, he'll never shut up about it." your mother remarks. "So, how do you all know each other?" your mother continues.

Your father's voice gets stern. "He... failed to mention that when he contacted us" your father now showing the seriousness in his face stated "I hope he's been treating you well.."

It wasn't my place to say sir, with all due respect. I felt it was best to let them proceed at their own place.

"With all due respect to you aswell I wasn't asking you." your father retorts.

"Well I for one don't care, and neither should you dear husband.... Anyone who can claim the hearts of these two must be one outstanding individual. They're very selective you know." your mother says. "Well..... yes.. I mean..... Alright.. I suppose we did raise them right with standards.." your father submits.

I can assure you, I would never do anything that wasn't in the direct interest of your daughters. Know that as precious as they are to you, they are to me as well.

"They better be" your father replies." Well if you all are done bickering, the food will be ready soon. Araavos, it's a pleasure to have you, thank you for binging our daughters to see us." your mothers responds. "Yes, thank you.." your father replies, sitting down once more, relaxed a little but still on the defense.

Oh? What's for dinner then? (sits down)

Thank Gods. I was getting hungry. (smiles and sits next to Rilith)

"Roasted Chicken with herbs and root vegetables" your mothers smiles.

As you all consume your food your mother brings out dessert."So. Why wasn't I invited to the wedding?" your mother asks setting down the tray of cookies "Now honey, maybe they just did a small private ceremony." your father replies. "I'm their mother..... they should have at least invited me." your mother says with a look that tells your father not to push it. "Of course honey...."

It was private. None of us really....do....weddings. Waste of time and money.

Might I make a suggestion?

"We're listening" your mother says

We have yet to celebrate the marriage. It's not the same as a wedding, some might call it a honeymoon. Would you two like to join us when we do the celebration? Of course, that's assuming you're okay with it of course {That last part directed at Rilith and Nazmir}

"See.... he gets it. That's a wonderful idea. And of course my daughters would want their mother there. Right girls?" your mother replies.

Definitely. Someone other than me needs to keep Rilith in check
